I have raised 6 children. Caring for a large family with all of their dozens of friends has many challenges. We were always the house where all the neighborhood children played. Even when my house was full to the brim with 70 teenagers, I was at my happiest!

 

I was the neighbor who helped in every neighbor's crisis. My chosen careers have always related to helping people. As a family we have taken in many homeless and houseless, helpless, needy or sick individuals and entire families.

 

My husband and I worked with social service organizations to find these people the help they needed. We never passed by a need without helping and we always helped until the need was fully met. That is important.

 

I ran the Human Resource department as an executive assistant in a multi million dollar hi-tech corporation. I was once again in the role of helping our hundreds of employees with insurance benefits, retirement plans, education, hiring and advancement.

 

That means I've seen it all, heard it all and discovered the simple truth about life that everyone can follow...we must go back to our human roots; where everyone in the village helps one another.

AS you begin your journey into married life, your dress is just the beginning. After the ceremonies are over you will step into your new role as a wife. Everything will change.  I am available to help in many ways. As a bridal consultant and marriage counselor for 30 years, if you have a need I can probably help you.

Sometimes we all need a DREAMCATCHER!

Unfortunately most people don't seek help until they are in a crisis. Having ignored their own needs for years, or even decades, they want to change it all right now!

​

Although some changes can be made immediately, the lasting, redefining changes need to be given time to settle into habits that last forever.

​

Those who want to get out of a life that is all tangled up and choked with challenges need a strong guide to show them the way. I call these guides "Dreamcatchers", because they help to catch YOUR dreams and make them a reality.

​

Everyone has a vision of where they would like to be, but few people have goals and even less people have a guide. Consider your life to be a jungle and you don't have your GPS to help you find the best way through the undergrowth blocking your path. You may have tried to navigate by yourself this far, but those feelings of frustration and being overwhelmed are very real indicators that you need help...now.

I spent 16 years of my life as a pastor's wife and marriage counselor, listening to people of all ages and helping them through difficult times. After that I have spent decades counseling in various positions and I can honestly say I have been successful in sharing the burdens people carry, because I care deeply about people.

​

I also care deeply about what works. With decades of research and having read hundreds of books I have accumulated answers that work to solve the most challenging situations. I have also struggled greatly in many ways personally. I know what it's like to be hungry, homeless, sick, broke, alone and in despair and I know what it's like to have plenty and live lavishly, able to help others. 

​

The bible says:

"All things work together for good for those who love God

and are called according to His purpose."

Romans 8:28

​

If every bad situation was able to be used to help another person, then that bad situation has been used for good. I want to use every difficult challenge I have faced for good, therefore I love to help people through their hard times and share their good times too.

​
